Off the Hook CSF - Final Fall Delivery Reminder

Posted 10/27/2010 2:43pm by Dave Adler.
Hello %%user-name%%!

I can't believe that I'm already writing you a reminder note to remind you that your last share delivery will be arriving on  ThursdayOctober 28th! You'll be happy (and maybe hungry) to know that fishing member Beau Gillis is back safe and sound from his final Off the Hook delivery trip of the season.

The Off the Hook CSF team of fishermen, coordinators and volunteers have had a really fun and inspiring time during our "pioneering year". It is cheesy to say, I know, but we really couldn't have done it without you and we would like to thank you again so much for supporting Off the Hook CSF and for being a part of creating new pathways for local, sustainable fisheries.

We are also planning a short information session about issues in the Bay of Fundy small-scale bottom hook and line fishery for those of you interested. Based on your feedback, a lunchtime session worked for more of you, which we are planning to put on next Thursday, November 4th, between 12:30 and 1:30 pm. We will also try and video the session and put it on our website for those who miss out. We will likely hold it at The Hub at 1673 Barrington Street - please RSVP ASAP so we can find a larger space in time if needed.

Anyway!  See below some details about the pickup, including a reminder about what to bring, when and where to show up.

(Oh! One more thing:  Please join our general mailing list if you haven't already to get updates about our coalescing plans to coordinate some lobster specials over the winter holidays - and we are confident we'll be slinging fresh, sustainable groundfish again come springtime.)

What to bring:

- If applicable:
Your signed contract and a cheque for the full amount owed, made out to Off the Hook Cooperative Limited.
