Fillet Fest 2012!
We are nearing the end of our fishing season for 2012, but if you would like to stock up on fresh, fair fish for the winter, you're in luck. We have a boat fishing right now down on Browns Bank, and we're taking orders on extra fish to be delivered this weekend. We'll bring in fresh cod, hake & haddock fillets caught by our Off the Hook fishermen using bottom hook and line gear. We bring our fish directly from the boat to the processing plant, where the expert fish cutters prepare beautiful, boneless fillets. Our fillets come labeled with the type of fish (either cod, hake, or haddock), the date it was landed, and the name of the person who caught the fish. Fillets are packed ready to freeze or to enjoy fresh. We'll also bring whole fish as well, so if you'd rather do your own cutting, then sharpen your knives!
Fillets can be ordered in 1 or 5 pound incriments. Whole fish range from 2 to 3 pounds each. Orders can be picked up in Halifax (Brewery Market) on Saturday, October 6 between 10 am and 12:30 pm, or at any Off the Hook pickup locations during the regularly scheduled pickups on Oct 6-7.
This offer is open to open to Off the Hook subscribers, and new members alike. Please place your orders by 12:00 noon on Friday, October 5 to be included in this weekend's delivery.
